Officials said on Tuesday than an arrest warrant has been issued for a person who is seen in a photo driving a vehicle that belonged to a murdered New Hampshire couple whose bodies were found late last month near Bob Hall Pier in Corpus Christi.
Law Enforcement says that Adam Curtis Williams is wanted on felony auto theft charges.
Kleberg County officials said that they believe Williams is the man seen driving James and Michelle Butler’s 2018 silver four-door Chevrolet pickup truck on Oct. 21, towing their trailer, and is considered armed and dangerous.
Research shows that Williams has a criminal history in Utah where back in 2010 it appears that. Williams was arrested and charged with multiple felony drug possession charges stemming from a complicated drug investigation in that state.
Williams and a female person of interest, Amanda Noverr were last believed to be seen crossing over into Piedras Negras, Mexico in the Butler’s vehicle shortly after the homicide.
That particular crossing is used primarily as an access point to Central Mexico and the state of Zacatecas, which is home to a sizeable Caucasian community with ties to Utah. What is not clear is if Williams could possibly be trying to make it those locations in an attempt to blend into a common society.
